Chapters also support local and national speech and hearing organizations, such as Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the only four-year liberal arts school in the world devoted wholly to the needs, instruction, and training of young people who are deaf, and the House Ear Institute, which is one of the world's foremost research, teaching, and treatment centers in the field of hearing.

Welcome to the Houston Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter website!

The members of Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority and I are delighted that you are visiting our website and we look forward to seeing you soon. My name is Stephanie Begley and I am the President of the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta.

In Delta Zeta, our purpose is to enrich our member's college years, our campuses, our communities and beyond. Delta Zeta membership endures for a lifetime. It is not a club, but a commitment to live our lives with the highest of values. Membership involves many privileges and obligations. We strive to excel in the areas of philanthropy, community service, campus involvement, spiritual growth, leadership development, and social success. We accomplish this in the Houston Alumnae Chapter by having monthly meetings, socials, young alum events,  and enrichment sessions.

Our chapter also takes pride in providing our members with various opportunities to enrich our current friendships as well as gain new ones by attending local and national conventions.  We also help with the local collegiate chapters from the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, Texas State University, and Stephen F. Austin University during Recruitment and throughout the year.

We all look forward to seeing you soon. Check out our facebook page and our twitter page for the most up to date information!
