Membership Levels

The Tarrant County Alumnae Chapter offers 5 levels of membership: Diamond, Pearl, Lamp, Rose, and Turtle. Each level provides support for the chapter's programs and pays Delta Zeta National, Local, and Alumnae Panhellenic dues for each member.

Lamp ($40 - Active) Level Membership allows you to attend any of the meetings and planned events, have access to the membership directory, and are eligible for awards.  Help with Fundraising would be expected.

Diamond ($75) and Pearl ($55) Level Memberships are the same as Lamp Level (Active), but includes an extra donation to the chapter in lieu of help with fundraising. The chapter recognizes these members and their dedication to the chapter in the monthly newsletters and at special events. With the special donations and members, the chapter is able to help support local collegiate chapters during recruitment and make contributions to our National and Local philanthropies.

Rose ($25 - Inactive) Level Membership is for members who would like to contribute to the chapter and pay for their National, Local, and Panhellenic dues but are unable to attend meetings and events due to distance or scheduling.

Turtle ($15 - New Graduates Only) Level Membership is for recent graduates who would like to attend any of the meetings and planned events, have access to the membership directory, be eligible for awards and pays Delta Zeta National Alumnae dues and Alumnae Panhellenic dues.

If you are interested in joining Delta Zeta Tarrant County Alumnae Chapter, please contact our Membership Vice President, Emily Smith at to mail your membership form and check, or you can pay your dues online at using

Delta Zeta’s national philanthropy, supported by both collegiate and alumnae chapters, is speech and hearing and The Painted Turtle camp.  Delta Zeta's partnerships with and The Painted Turtle and The Starkey Hearing Foundation were announced at the 2006 National Convention.  All of these important programs provide additional volunteer and giving opportunities for collegiate and alumnae members.

Chapters also support local and national speech and hearing organizations, such as Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the only four-year liberal arts school in the world devoted wholly to the needs, instruction, and training of young people who are deaf, and the House Ear Institute, which is one of the world's foremost research, teaching, and treatment centers in the field of hearing.
