Delta Zeta is proud to currently have a 3.06 chapter GPA placing us 4th out of the 20 Greek organizations at UCO. This also means our chapter GPA is higher than UCO's all Greek average (2.91) and all female average (2.97).

Excellence in scholarship is an important part of being a Delta Zeta. New Members must be enrolled in at least 10 hours at UCO and maintain a 2.7 cumulative GPA in order to be initiated. All members are required to maintain a 2.7 cumulative GPA and to complete weekly study hours. Members falling below the required 2.7 GPA will enter into our Academic Potential Program (APP) where our Academic Chair will work closely with them to improve their academic performance. Members on APP then have two consecutive semesters to raise their GPA back to the required 2.7 or their membership will be revoked according to Delta Zeta national policy.

It is not a club but a commitment to live our lives with the highest of values. Membership involves many privileges and obligations. By living our creed, we strive to excel in the areas of academic achievement, philanthropy, community service, campus involvement, spiritual growth, leadership development, and social success.

The Delta Zeta Creed
To the world, I promise temperance, insight and courage
To crusade for justice, seek the truth and defend it always
To those whom my life may touch in slight measure, may I give graciously of what is mine
To my friends, understanding and appreciation
To those closer ones, love that is ever steadfast
To my mind, growth
To myself, faith that I may walk truly in the light of the flame
