Member Spotlight
Delta Zetas represent every woman on campus. From diverse backgrounds, every woman in the chapter brings a different outlook, a different talent, a different strength to Theta Chapter. When combined, these strengths form what Delta Zeta truly means.

To spotlight one of these strengths, we would like to recognize the two members who volunteered for a week at The Painted Turtle Camp.  Ashlee Crabill (now an alum) and Sarah Eadon flew out to Los Angeles and spent a week with children who have life threatening illnesses.  Thank you Ashlee and Sarah!

Our Story
Founded on October 24, 1902 at Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Delta Zeta is one of the largest sororities, with more than 150 collegiate and 250 alumnae chapters worldwide. Delta Zeta unites its members in the bonds of sincere and lasting friendship, encourages the pursuit of knowledge, promotes, the moral and social culture of its members, and helps sisters develop plans for guidance and unity in action.

Delta Zeta-Theta Chapter here at Ohio State was founded on January 21, 1911. Theta Chapter was actually founded by one of Delta Zeta's original founding members, Mary Collins. This March, we are excited to celebrate our 100th year on campus--our Centennial--with sisters and alumnae.

Philanthropy
Delta Zeta’s national philanthropy, supported by both collegiate and alumnae chapters, is speech and hearing and The Painted Turtle camp.  Delta Zeta's partnerships with and The Painted Turtle and The Starkey Hearing Foundation were announced at the 2006 National Convention.  All of these important programs provide additional volunteer and giving opportunities for collegiate and alumnae members.

Chapters also support local and national speech and hearing organizations, such as Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the only four-year liberal arts school in the world devoted wholly to the needs, instruction, and training of young people who are deaf, and the House Ear Institute, which is one of the world's foremost research, teaching, and treatment centers in the field of hearing.

Recruitment
Hello Ladies!

Describing what Delta Zeta means in just a couple paragraphs is near impossible.

Service, academics, friendship and individuality are the foundations that our chapter is built upon. We cherish these qualities in our sisters, and hope you seem them in yourself as well. Delta Zeta women continuously strive on being the best they can be. I hope that if you meet our sisters, you will see this for yourself.

Joining a sorority was an amazing decision, and I could not be any happier with my choice to become a Delta Zeta. It has given me so many opportunities and friendships I never would have gotten had I chose to not go Greek. I invite you to visit with us during recruitment so that you can better understand what Delta Zeta truly means. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Welcome
Hello! Thank you for your interest in Delta Zeta Sorority!

The members of Theta Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority and I are delighted that you are visiting our website. My name is Nikki Pangilinan and I am the President of Delta Zeta at The Ohio State University.

In Delta Zeta, our purpose is to enrich our members' college years, our campus, our community, and beyond. Delta Zeta membership endures for a lifetime. It is not a club, but a commitment to live our lives with the highest of values. We strive to excel in the areas of academic achievement, philanthropy, community service, campus involvement, spiritual growth, leadership development, and social success.

Our chapter takes pride in the strong sisterhood bond that we share.  We are well known in our community for always being there for each other and supporting one another in every way possible!  Philanthropy is also close to our hearts as we continue supporting Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Delta Zeta Foundation and the Painted Turtle Camp.
